Works with FieldRoutes

A pest control answering service that works inside FieldRoutes

Your calls answered, qualified and booked onto the right route — by people, not a bot.

If your office already runs on FieldRoutes (formerly PestRoutes), the question isn't whether someone answers the phone — it's whether the call ends up as a clean appointment on the right route, on the right day, with notes your tech can actually use. That's the part we handle.

What we do

Your phone, handled like an in-house office

Callvix is a pest control answering service staffed by trained people, not an AI bot. During your agreed coverage we answer in your company’s name, qualify the pest issue, and book eligible jobs by your rules — working inside FieldRoutes so your team sees the job where they expect it. Standard coverage is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm in your local time; evening and weekend coverage are optional add-ons.

Call flow

What happens to a call, step by step

1

New caller, no record

We search by phone number and address first. If there's no customer, we create one with the details you require — name, service address, phone, email, and the source you use for lead tracking.

2

Existing customer

We pull up the record and read the service history before we say anything else. A recurring account calling about a re-service gets handled differently from a first-time caller.

3

The appointment

Booked to an available slot inside the service area and time window you've defined, against the service type you've told us to use for that pest and property type.

4

Notes and flags

Pest type, urgency, access details, pets on site, gate codes — anything the tech needs before they knock, written into the appointment note in the format your team already reads.

5

Escalation

Anything outside your booking rules — a commercial account, a termite or WDO inquiry, a complaint, a service area edge case — goes to the person you name, by the method you name, immediately.

System specifics

Where FieldRoutes changes how we work

Route density matters more in FieldRoutes than in most systems, so we book against the slots you make available rather than filling the first open gap. You decide how much of the calendar we can touch.

Subscription and recurring service accounts are handled differently from one-time jobs. We follow your rule on when to offer a plan and when not to.

Lead source is captured on every new customer so your marketing reporting stays honest.

If your office uses custom fields for anything a tech needs, tell us at onboarding and they become part of the call script.

In practice

Three calls a FieldRoutes office gets every week

The ones where the difference between a trained pest-control representative and a generic call center shows up in your revenue rather than in a survey.

“My quarterly is due but I've got ants now”

A recurring subscription customer with a live problem between services. The wrong move is to book a new one-time job and bill them for it. We read the subscription, check whether it falls under your re-service policy, and book it the way you've told us to — or escalate if the account looks unusual.

“How much for a house my size?”

The caller wants a number before they'll commit. We quote from your published range where the property and pest fall inside it, and escalate the moment it doesn't — square footage outliers, outbuildings, acreage, anything with a crawl space you price differently.

“I'm just outside your area, right?”

Service area edges are where a generic call center invents an answer and creates a cancellation two days later. We check the address against your defined areas before offering a time, and hand borderline addresses to you.

Onboarding

What we agree before we take a live call

Setup is a conversation, not a form. All of this is written down before we answer in your name.

A named user in FieldRoutes with the permission level you’re comfortable granting — revocable at any time.

Your service areas, and what we should do with an address that falls outside them.

Your pricing rules, and the point at which a pricing question should come to you instead.

A mapping between what a caller describes and the service or job type you want booked.

Your escalation contact, the method, and what counts as urgent enough to use it.

The greeting, in your company’s name, exactly as you want it spoken.

Straight answers

What we don’t do

The difference between a useful answering service and one that creates work for you.

We are not a FieldRoutes partner and this is not a native integration. There is no data sync. Our people work in your account like an in-house CSR would, using access you control.

We don’t take payment or quote account balances. We don’t invent an answer to a pricing or scope question that falls outside your rules — it gets escalated. We don’t process cancellations; we capture the reason and hand the call to you the same day. And we only work with pest control companies, so we would be the wrong choice for your other trades if you run any.

Pricing

The same flat pricing, whichever system you run

Per call, not per minute — a long, complicated booking costs the same as a quick question.

Our prices are published rather than quoted — you can work out what Callvix costs before you ever speak to us. See the full pricing breakdown →

FAQ

Questions FieldRoutes offices ask

No, and we don't claim to be. Our representatives work inside your FieldRoutes account the way an in-house CSR would, using access you grant and can revoke. There is no native integration, no data sync, and no partnership. FieldRoutes and PestRoutes are trademarks of their respective owners.
A named user account with the permissions you're comfortable granting — typically enough to search customers, create records, and book appointments. You control the permission level and can revoke it at any time.
Same thing. PestRoutes became FieldRoutes, and offices on either version of the interface are handled the same way. Tell us which one you see when you log in and we train to that.
Whatever you decide at onboarding. Some offices give us the full calendar; most give us defined windows per service area and prefer we escalate anything that doesn't fit. Both work.
